Still learning more about the runes, like Elder Futhark may be older than previously thought—perhaps going back to Year One.
However, Old Norse is about 4,000 years old, going back to the Bronze Age, so either the giantesses were created for the pantheon, or they were rolled into the new religion and are even older than that. Given the dearth of documentation on this, I can only read the reports of the experts.
This changes nothing in my worship. I still honor the Giantess without and within.
